Review: Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson (Spoiler-Free)
This is the YA mystery series we've all needed. It has true crime elements, actually realistic investigation (it takes hundreds of tries to guess a password, not just like two based on a dead pet), and an intensely relatable main character. I didn't love this book quite as much as the first, but it was still great! I liked the premise a bit better in the first one, and especially loved the senior capstone project idea. This one is more geared around Pip's new true crime podca

Review: The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers (Spoiler-Free)
DNF @ 25% I think this is the most surprised I've ever been to DNF a book. The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet has been on my TBR for years, and I always assumed I would love it. Clearly, that didn't happen. I feel like if you loved The House in the Cerulean Sea, you would have a pretty decent chance at liking this book. What I got was a half sci-fi half survival story, and I enjoyed the survival half of it (Cee's POV). I enjoyed both characters themselves, but I wasn't as personally engaged in Kasey's storyline. It may have been because I read this during finals week, but I found the nuances of her plotline to be a li

Review: At Bertram's Hotel by Agatha Christie (Spoiler-Free)
The ingenuity of the young female of the species is beyond anything you could conjecture! so true ms. christie. I always enjoy Agatha Christie, and while this certainly was not my favorite I've read of hers, it was still pleasantly entertaining. I didn't think the ending was as satisfying or came as full circle as others, but I enjoyed getting to know Ms. Marple (this is my first Ms. Marple book!), and I also liked the hotel setting. This book is super short so there's really
