Review: The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers (Spoiler-Free)

I think this is the most surprised I've ever been to DNF a book. The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet has been on my TBR for years, and I always assumed I would love it. Clearly, that didn't happen.

I feel like if you loved The House in the Cerulean Sea, you would have a pretty decent chance at liking this book. Unfortunately, I wasn't the biggest fan of that one either. Both of these stories surround cutesy found families with little to no plot, and that's really not what I was looking for in my sci-fi. I love a good found-family trope, don't get me wrong, but I also need an interesting plot along with it, and this book did not bring that.
