Review: The Afterlife of Holly Chase by Cynthia Hand (Spoiler-Free)

WHY DOES NO ONE TALK ABOUT THIS BOOK?? It was so good. It legitimately had every single thing I love in a book all in one. Ranging from fabulous character arcs to plot twists and a solid romance (I haven't had a hard ship in quite some time), this book blew me away. I have never read A Christmas Carol, but I have seen the play so I was already familiar with the plot. However, this book does an amazing job at flipping it into something completely new. I was immediately drawn into the book from the start, and once I got passed halfway I could barely put it down. I loved all of the characters in this book, even the ones that we were supposed to hate. I could relate to them from the start. I am so glad that I decided to pick this up before the end of the year because now I have a new favorite to add to my list for 2018. This is definitely the best Christmas book I have ever read and I would totally recommend it. I'm excited to pick up one of Cynthia Hand's other books in the future.
