Review: Meet Cute (Spoiler-Free)

I really enjoyed almost every story from this book! I don't feel like going into too much detail about each story, so I'll only make comments about the ones that I have something to say about. Print Shop by Nina LaCour- 3 stars ★★★☆☆ Hourglass by Ibi Zoboi- 1 star ★☆☆☆☆ Click by Katharine McGee- 4 stars ★★★★☆ The Intern by Sara Shepard- 3 stars ★★★☆☆ Somewhere That's Green by Meredith Russo- 5 stars ★★★★★ The Way We Love Here by Dhonielle Clayton- 5 stars ★★★★★ Reading this wonderful story made me so much more excited to eventually read The Belles by this author. Oomph by Emery Lord- 5 stars ★★★★★ This is yet another story that got me incredibly excited to read this author's books. The Dictionary of You and Me by Jennifer L. Armentrout- 5 stars ★★★★★ I have read one of Armentrout's books before and loved it, and this short story was no exception. The Unlikely Likelihood of Falling in Love by Jocelyn Davies- 5 stars ★★★★★ By FAR my favorite story of this whole collection. I have a special love for math, so the way that statistics were incorporated into this story just made me happy and really allowed me to connect to it. There were so many relatable lines and moments in this story, and honestly anything involving math is just going to get me even more excited about it. (I know I'm a nerd, we don't need to focus on that) 259 Million Miles by Kass Morgan- 4 stars ★★★★☆ Something Real by Julie Murphy- 3 stars ★★★☆☆ With my second three star rating for one of her works, I think it is safe to say that this will probably be my last time reading anything by Julie Murphy. Say Everything by Huntley Fitzpatrick- 3.5 stars ★★★½☆ The Department of Dead Love by Nicola Yoon- 4 stars ★★★★☆ I really loved this one up until the ending. The end kind of ruined it for me, but I loved everything about it until then. Overall, a great read! Obviously the stories in the middle were my favorites. :)
