Review: Obsidio by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff (Spoiler-Free)
Okay, so now that I have my thoughts all together, and I have a SNOW DAY :D, I can write a proper review. To start off, I'm so sad that this series is over, but I also think that there is nowhere else this series can go after this book because the story definitely feels very complete. That being said, and despite my five star rating (bc this is an Illuminae Files book how could it not be five stars?), this was probably my least favorite of the series. I know, I know, it seems weird to give it five stars when I have some issues with it BUT IT WAS STILL GREAT. I just didn't think it had any huge and exciting plot twists like the first two books. Both Illuminae and Gemina literally blew my mind by the end while this one was just a really fun read, but nothing really surprised me. Also, I feel like the ending was a little bit rushed. I don't know if that's just because I flew through it, or if it is because it actually was rushed. Overall, a GREAT read, and a good conclusion to the trilogy.
