Review: "Wonder Woman: Warbringer" by Leigh Bardugo (Spoiler-Free)

Leigh Bardugo never fails to impress. I was worried that I wouldn't be as blown away by this book as her other works because I'm not really a fan of most things "super-hero." However, I WAS WRONG. I loved this book from start to finish, and I think anyone that enjoys action, gods/goddesses, and Bardugo's fabulous world-building, will love this book.

This story is about Diana, a young woman living on the island of Themyscira. She feels like an outcast, because while all of the other girls earned their spots on the island, she was born there. After saving a human girl from a shipwreck, she is faced with the decision of whether she wants to risk becoming a hero and possibly losing her family, or keeping her family but possibly losing the ability to become a hero in the future. Release date: AUGUST 29, 2017.

Song I was reminded of while reading: Wonder Woman
