Review: Finale by Stephanie Garber (Spoiler-Alert)

** spoiler alert ** I just have to come straight out of the gate and say it: Jacks has my heart and no one can convince me otherwise. Sure, Legend loves Tella and would sacrifice himself for her, but have you seen Jacks tossing an apple with rustled hair and an untucked shirt?? Anyway... now onto the rest of the book. Actually, wait one more minute. Where on Earth did Jacks go at the end??? He legitimately just disappears?? This better be some sort of hint to a spinoff because I would be L I V I N G for that. I was very impressed with how connected I was to the characters in this installment of the series, because even though I've loved the previous books, I don't remember being as invested with regards to the characters. Scarlett is still my favorite character (besides Jacks lol <3), and I felt as though I really got to see her come into herself in this book. I wish Julian was explored a bit more, and I really wish that we were given a full Legend and Julian backstory. Again, I would be so down for a spinoff series. I loved learning more about the Fates, and about Paradise the Lost, but I wish that where the Fates went at the end was explained a bit more. Don't get me wrong, I still loved this book, and love this series, so much, but I just am left with a couple of more questions. However, even though I wish these questions were answered, Tella's ending of the book was perfect <3.
