Review: The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes (Spoiler-Free)

I consumed this book so quickly I didn’t really have time to process it. For that reason, this review will be very short. I was very excited to read this book because I’d heard that it was a YA version of Criminal Minds. That is definitely true, but proceed with caution because those familiar with Criminal Minds will have to glaze over the explanations about how profiling works because they will know the details already. While I found these sections to be a little boring, I recognize that they are necessary for people who aren’t familiar with FBI profiling. Overall, this mystery was really fast-paced and had a twist ending that I did not see coming (even though I should have now that I realize all of the clues after the fact) and I am interested in reading more about these characters in the sequels.
