Review: The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli (Spoiler-Free)

I really enjoyed this book! Of course, not nearly as much as Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda because that book is just on a whole other level of amazing. I loved Molly as the main character and enjoyed most of the other characters as well. I really did not like the Cassie (her twin) but oh well. Anyway, so I think there was a lot of really great rep in this book including characters that are, fat, pansexual, bisexual, gay/lesbian, black, and Korean-American. Overall this was a really fun and fluffy read that definitely got me out of a potential reading slump, but without the awesome representation I think this would just be a cheesy contemporary so that's why I gave it a solid 4 stars. Also every time there was a reference to Abby and Simon I squealed to myself :D I cannot wait to read Leah on the Offbeat!!
