Review: The Last of August by Brittany Cavallaro (Spoiler-Free)

This book was action-packed from start to finish! Every page left me wanting more, and the comedy was perfect. These characters stayed so true to the personalities of Sherlock, Watson, and Moriarty from the classics that we all know and love. The Last of August is a great book with the most clever of characters.

“'You know, I told Dad not to tell you about that whole near-death thing. I said that you'd overreact, and I was right.'There was a long pause, and then the shouting got somewhat louder.” - Brittany Cavallaro (The Last of August)

In this thrilling sequel to A Study in Charlotte, Holmes and Watson are no longer plagued by a murder mystery, but instead are faced with a missing uncle, a poisoned mother, and the art con of the century. Continue this epic series with Charlotte and Jamie through perils even more intense than the last.

Song I was reminded of while reading: Love Robbery
