Review: The Lost Sisters by Holly Black (Spoiler Alert)
** spoiler alert ** Hmmmmm... yeah, so I still hate Taryn.
She just doesn't really have any redeeming qualities.
Jealousy wasn’t a spice to me then. It was the whole meal and I was gagging it down.
This novella provides some insight into what Taryn was feeling and going through during The Cruel Prince when we only got to see from Jude's perspective. The story revealed how weak and cowardly she is as a character, and I almost feel bad for her for having such little sens

Review: Summer of Salt by Katrina Leno (Spoiler-Free)
Check out my Goodreads review of this book here if you want to hear my spoilery thoughts as well! I so totally predicted every twist in this book, but it was still so totally perfect.
On the island of By-the-Sea you could always smell two things: salt and magic.
This story was so addicting for no good reason, and touched on many important topics. There is also a great amount of LGBTQ+ rep in this book, and it features a f/f romance, while that is not the main focus though

I was very excited to read this book because I’d heard that it was a YA version of Criminal Minds.
