Review: Daughter of the Siren Queen by Tricia Levenseller (Spoiler-Free)
"The sound of my knife slitting across a throat feels much too loud in the darkness."
You know a book is going to be amazing when this is the first sentence. I think one of the reasons that I loved this book so much was that I started reading it, but had to put it down to read a different book which I ended up HATING, and then this one was just sooooo much better in comparison XD. Of course, that is not the only reason I loved this book, so here are the many other ones:

Update: Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi
DNF @34% Sorry to everyone who loves this series. I just cannot stand these characters any longer. Here's a quote from my fave, Kenji, the only tolerable person in this book, when he finally brought me some sanity by yelling at the whiny main character: "As far as I can tell, you've got food in your mouth and clothes on your back and a place to pee in peace whenever you feel like it. Those aren't problems. That's called living like a king. And I'd really appreciate it if

Review: Obsidio by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff (Spoiler-Free)
Okay, so now that I have my thoughts all together, and I have a SNOW DAY :D, I can write a proper review.
To start off, I'm so sad that this series is over, but I also think that there is nowhere else this series can go after this book because the story definitely feels very complete. That being said, and despite my five star rating (bc this is an Illuminae Files book how could it not be five stars?), this was probably my least favorite of the series.
I know, I know, it

Review: Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi (Spoiler-Free)
I think the easiest way to sum up my feelings about this book is just to say:
Love the story, the plot, and most of the characters. However, the only problem lies in the fact that I cannot stand the romance in this book.
This book was super addicting and a great read, and I'm definitely looking forward to reading more of the series while secretly hoping that Adam dies or something.
Is it common for people to not like Adam?? He's the love interest book and besides his on

Review: Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller
4.5/5 swashbuckling stars!
Going into this book, I was definitely not expecting to love it as much as I did. For some reason I thought it would read more like a middle grade, but I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't!
While I can recognize some predictability and cheesy writing moments, overall I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It was so much fun, and action packed, and definitely delivered onactually being a book about pirates.
I also really enjoyed our main charac

Review: All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
I'm not gonna say too much about this book, but to start I think that objectively speaking this is probably a 5/5 book, it's just that I rate my books subjectively and I only enjoyed this book as a 4/5. (This could potentially also be because many of my friends said that it was literally the best book they'd ever read, so I had some pretty high expectations going in.)
The writing is phenomenal. The descriptions are lush, but not overdone, and there are so many little connect
