Review: Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas (Spoiler Alert)

4.5 stars!! Only bumping down my rating because 1) I was more shook by The Assassin's Blade 2) The ending could have been a little better? Idk if that makes sense but I was hoping for a bit more 3) I predicted quite a bit of the plot, but it was still so enjoyable!! 4) I need to leave room for the inevitable improvement of the series :D Despite those aspects, I still absolutely loved this book and need to read the rest of the series soon. I loved the characters and their development, even the minor ones. For example, Nox and Nehemia were amazing and learning more about them was fun. I am slightly disappointed that Nox will not really be significant in the series (I could be wrong). The fighting sequences in this book are so good, and I absolutely love Celaena and honestly wish I was more like her. Now, let's talk about the good stuff. Ships. Who do I want with Celaena Sardothien? After the death of Sam in the Assassin's Blade, I didn't know if I could ever ship her with someone else. But, it turns out, in reality, I can... whoops. Honestly idk why but I shipped her with Nox and he wasn't even an option lol. Second to that I like Chaol, which is weird bc the obvious choice is Dorian, and while I didn't really have anything against that I wasn't really feeling them together. I've also heard a lot of people say that they don't like Chaol, but whatever I'm happy to be on my own ship haha. Can't wait to see who she chooses as the series goes on. I also MUST know more about Kaltain and Duke Perrington. And about what Arobynn Hamel is up to now. AGH I need Crown of Midnight soon.

Song I was reminded of while reading: you should see me in a crown
